and yet they both reached for the gun!
Sorry, I'm still on a bit of a Chicago rampage. Love that musical ♥
So it's Friday! And we have a three-day weekend! And under any other sort of circumstances this would be absolutely miraculous, but I have insane amounts of homework. I know you don't read the blog to hear about my woes, but, egh.. surprise! :'D [/fail] I have to read over 60pgs from the US History text book, finish a speech, complete a study guide, and rewrite a page of lab instructions because chem is full of stupidly annoying busy-work. AND THAT'S ONLY THE WORK DUE MONDAY.
Ughsfkljksl. So yeah. That's my frame of mind at the moment. Sorry you had to put up with that; I'm usually not quite so negative. I have dance today though, and I'm hoping I'll be able to go to the mall and get those Red Queen hair clips from Alice in Wonderland before the weekend's out, so at least I still have stuff to look forward to (: Plus, I just recently got my permit, and I'm no longer frightened to death of driving, so, hurray!
Special Question Answering Time!
My favorite books? Besides HP? D: My favorite serieses (seriei? series's, but not possessive?) would have to be His Dark Materials by Phillip Pullman (bloody amazing books, this is where I fell in love with my first villain character - Bellatrix, believe it or not, was second!), Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (a lottt better than I thought they'd be. It actually IS a lot like the movie), Death Note by... oh dear, I dunno... (the only manga/anime I've ever been interested in), a whole bunch of Grisham's works (a whole bunch of legal stuff that, most of the time, is surprisingly good), and I can admit to my thing for Batman comics (: I've just started reading them in November, just ones with the Joker & Harley, Dr. Crane or the Ventriloquist. Because lets face it, when you get rid of the cliche-ness of the characters and plot, Batman comics have some seriously amazing potential for villains. I'm working on a villain study of them, actually, I have a notebook full of ideas. I just realized how sad that sounds! I take notes off of comic books. Get your laughs out now, I 'spose xD
My favorite lone books would have to be Havemercy (I use caution when recommending, lol), Picture of Dorian Gray (surprisingly cool!), Good Omens (nothing trumps Gaiman + Pratchett), Secret Window (yayyy Stephen King!), and... oh jeez, I can't think of a fifth! I just know it'll come to be later in the day, but for now I got nothing. D:
How Nerdy is Tasha?
Tasha is so nerdy that she considers what she's about to say bragging.
[/thirdperson]
I'm writing a series of books (: I've been writing them for four years, and got up to book three, but in eighth grade I went over them, realized how much I'd matured and what crap the three books were, and started from scratch. I took the next year, maybe a bit less, to redevelop the plot a bit, so it wasn't so boring / predictable / a bad copy of Harry Potter. In the end, I decided to omit the six heroes completely, leaving only two villains. (Have I mentioned baddies = win?) Originally, two goodies died per book, but once you realize you hate your characters that much, you gotta let them go, for the good of everyone involved. lol. In their place I created two new side-villains and a neutral (coughpawncough) to go along the story of the main villain's life. Her name is Stella (: Hence the stellatrix! Because I tried to make her a mix of Bellatrix and Mrs Coulter, from HDM, but somewhere along the line I added a whole bunch of emotionally-unstable. But that part of her is only revealed in glimpses, and in a - if I may flatter myself - non-MarySue-ish way. : D So when I'm not talking about HP, chances are I'm talking about my books. Because... I'm just that nerdy. (:
WELCOME TO MUGGLETEEN
This is MuggleTeen, the first blog of it's kind, run by seven teenagers, about their love for Harry Potter. This supermegafoxyawesomehot blog is wizrock-tastic and full of the ramblings and rantings of me Megan (who is amazing and likes to make fun of Rob even though deep down somewhere he is a good person that she loves), Kate (the person who never posts), Annie (the Doctor lover...well, we all are, but...),Alyssa (who needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one xD), Katie (who also felt she needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one. I am not just 'a person!'), Sam (the anime lover and spider person who should maybe post now, yeah? is Thursday alright? -.-) , and Nicole (who has taken Sam's Spot on Friday and pushed Sam to thursday!) We're all members of the HPEF forums but that doesn't really matter now XD We are extremely excited to share our Potter-ness with the world and we will have many, many posts soon. So, until then, keep on Wizard Rockin'!!!

You like to write? I like to write! =D Normally just a bit of fanfiction, but I'm working on a couple of original works right now. I started a story in October-ish, but I've barely written 3,000 words, sooo ... XD But that's just a short story, I started plotting out a novel a few weeks ago. Oh, and I might not have a post Tuesday. I have the week off from school, so I'm on vacation and the internet connection's not that great. It's a miracle this comments being posted, actually. XD So, I'll hopefully see you guys on Monday-ish! =D
We like to write! :'D We must talk about our books / short stories sometime! (: ♥
