WELCOME TO MUGGLETEEN

This is MuggleTeen, the first blog of it's kind, run by seven teenagers, about their love for Harry Potter. This supermegafoxyawesomehot blog is wizrock-tastic and full of the ramblings and rantings of me Megan (who is amazing and likes to make fun of Rob even though deep down somewhere he is a good person that she loves), Kate (the person who never posts), Annie (the Doctor lover...well, we all are, but...),Alyssa (who needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one xD), Katie (who also felt she needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one. I am not just 'a person!'), Sam (the anime lover and spider person who should maybe post now, yeah? is Thursday alright? -.-) , and Nicole (who has taken Sam's Spot on Friday and pushed Sam to thursday!) We're all members of the HPEF forums but that doesn't really matter now XD We are extremely excited to share our Potter-ness with the world and we will have many, many posts soon. So, until then, keep on Wizard Rockin'!!!

Academy Awards Night!!!

Hey everybody! I just got finished watching the Academy awards, and boy what a night it was. Sandra Bullock won for best actress, Hurt Locker won for best picture, mostly all my picks were right. I was just happy that Avatar didn't win for best picture. I really didn't like it. I thought that the story was bad and boring, and that the only thing that made it good was the special effects. Unfortunately Harry Potter didn't win anything, but honestly, "The Half-Blood Prince" wasn't my favorite book of the series.
Now for my question of the week, I ask "What was your favorite movie of 2009" I think that mine was "The Blind Side." It was a fantastic story, great acting, and had a great moral to it.
On another subject, I saw Alice in Wonderland thursday at midnight. I didn't see it in 3D, but I don't think that it really matters with this movie. It was good, the story was paced well, and didn't get boring. My only complaint was that it was a little too fast at parts. Sometimes I couldn't really understand what was going on. Go see it!!!! XD

I freaking missed the awards. Grrr. My cable company had a little ... spat with ABC. But then they made up right before the show and put the channel back up, but nobody bothered to tell me. XP I hope it was a good show!

For your question ... Do you really have to ask? Half-Blood Prince FTW! =D

I actually enjoyed Avatar (: I know the story's been done before in many different shapes and forms, but I still found it fun.

Favorite movie of '09 is either, as Kate mentioned, HBP, or Sherlock Holmes. Because it sort of won at life :D I'm in the middle of reading the books now; they're amazing.

I saw Alice on Saturdayyy! I absolutely adored it, especially the Red Queen :'D But I agree, they really could've made it more than an hour forty minutes.
