WELCOME TO MUGGLETEEN

This is MuggleTeen, the first blog of it's kind, run by seven teenagers, about their love for Harry Potter. This supermegafoxyawesomehot blog is wizrock-tastic and full of the ramblings and rantings of me Megan (who is amazing and likes to make fun of Rob even though deep down somewhere he is a good person that she loves), Kate (the person who never posts), Annie (the Doctor lover...well, we all are, but...),Alyssa (who needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one xD), Katie (who also felt she needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one. I am not just 'a person!'), Sam (the anime lover and spider person who should maybe post now, yeah? is Thursday alright? -.-) , and Nicole (who has taken Sam's Spot on Friday and pushed Sam to thursday!) We're all members of the HPEF forums but that doesn't really matter now XD We are extremely excited to share our Potter-ness with the world and we will have many, many posts soon. So, until then, keep on Wizard Rockin'!!!

I don't have a witty title this week. Deal with it.

Lumos!

Hey, guys! It's been a while. My power is (thankfully) back, and I'm ready to roll! Well, actually this post will be a quickie 'cause there's a book I really want to get back to. Anyone read the Inkheart trilogy by Cornelia Funke? I'm on the last book. *is excited*

I actually do have a life outside of reading fantasy novels, you know. For example: Kiss Me Kate was last weekend! It went extremely well, I have to say. We didn't screw up too badly. Everyone said the pit was amazing, which I loved. =D I had to give back my music book today. I erased all of my notation while watching the Office yesterday. That really put a downer on me having time to watch the Office again. =[

I don't really think I have anything Harry Potter related for you this week. Unless you count the fact the my extra credit vocabulary sentences I did for English were all Harry Potter related! "Harry stared in horror at the conjoined heads of Voldemort and Quirrel." XD Now imagine that with like, thirty vocabulary words from a Shakespeare play. How awesome does that sound?

~Kate's Song of the Week~
I used my iPod instead of the insufferably slow iTunes this time! Yaay! So, this week's song is "Knock 123" by Imelda May. She's an Irish rockabilly singer my aunt showed me. I think she performed at the Grammy's, actually. In any case, she's apparently very popular in Ireland, so when I finally got money for iTunes I bought her CD. And loved it! It's really jazzy and has a great rock beat to it. I hope you like the song! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kD-P_6t5tA8 (Normally I'd link it, but I've been having problems with that particular feature, sooo ...)

What do YOU want to be when YOU grow up?

Yaay! Time to answer my question! So, I want to be an English teacher. I adore all things to do with reading, writing, analyzing books, all that stuff. I actually enjoy the Honors English program at my school, unlike everyone else. It's one of my few passions. But of course, I have another passion. Music. *sighs* I had this little ... let's say image? of me being a music teacher the other week. It really made me doubt the English teacher thing. I'm so torn. I definitely want to teach, but I don't know what! GAH! But I do know for sure that I'll either choose something to do with the English language of a music teacher. But I only have a couple of years to decide. What the hell am I going to do??? XP It may seem like a long time, but it's really not ...

So, I'm leaving you to read. Reading is fun! =D Oh! One more thing. My school's Spring Break is next week and I'm going to the same place I went to during February break. Yes, that's right folks, my internet connection is going to be crappy again! I will definitely have a post, but it might either be a day or two early or late. Whenever I get the connection at its best is when I'll post, so be on the watch! =]

Nai Hao! (Chinese. I learned about it in French. Please don't ask.)

Hey! It's really interesting that you want to be an English teacher. Mostly this is because I really dislike Language Arts. I love to read but I dislike writing and dissecting what you read. I'm much more logical and everything has to fit together. Also all the exceptions bother me. Why can't there be one straightforward way?

Sorry for the rant about English. Have fun on Spring Break, mine isn't until the last week in April :(
