Countdown to Leaky Con

WELCOME TO MUGGLETEEN

This is MuggleTeen, the first blog of it's kind, run by seven teenagers, about their love for Harry Potter. This supermegafoxyawesomehot blog is wizrock-tastic and full of the ramblings and rantings of me Megan (who is amazing and likes to make fun of Rob even though deep down somewhere he is a good person that she loves), Kate (the person who never posts), Annie (the Doctor lover...well, we all are, but...),Alyssa (who needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one xD), Katie (who also felt she needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one. I am not just 'a person!'), Sam (the anime lover and spider person who should maybe post now, yeah? is Thursday alright? -.-) , and Nicole (who has taken Sam's Spot on Friday and pushed Sam to thursday!) We're all members of the HPEF forums but that doesn't really matter now XD We are extremely excited to share our Potter-ness with the world and we will have many, many posts soon. So, until then, keep on Wizard Rockin'!!!

My Pretty Suckish Week

Lumos!

Okay. I have absolutely nothing to say. I know, normally I don't shut up. But I was sick today, so I'm basically just laying in bed catching up on homework.

So I guess I'll tell you what I did since last Tuesday, which isn't much. More pit orchestra, more stress over pit orchestra, another snow day (spent reading fanfics! =D), the library, and then nothing. It was such a freaking boring week. The only happy part was the library 'cause I finally got the last two Percy Jackson books, plus some mythology stuff. I finished The Last Olympian about two hours ago. Freaking. Awesome. I'm going to start the mythology books later tonight. I got two on Greek and one on Celtic. I'm all for the family history. =] Oh, and my dad got a huge poetry anthology that he likes to read from in a weird voice. Something about dancing in the daffodils ...? And to sum up my pretty suckish week, my mom went to Ireland. Without me. =P This is a normal thing, and even though I go every summer I'm still extremely jealous. I miss my family, I only have like, two cousins in this country. Okay, off topic, but the Office is on and Dwight started singing an Irish song strangely. Weird. So, I'm stuck with my dad and little brother for the rest of the week. Doesn't that sound awesome? =D *is sarcastic*

~Kate's Song of the Week~
Let's hope this is something that I actually like and will talk about. Oh, and on the topic of music, I heard Justin Bieber for the first time on Monday. I'm not kidding you, I seriously thought it was a girl until my friend told me who it was. XD Gosh, I hate modern music. It's weird. Okay, here's the song. July Flame by Laura Veirs. Again, nothing to say really. I'm broke on iTunes at the moment, so I go scouting for free songs and this was one of them. It's actually a pretty good song, I have to say. Let's see if I can find a link ... July Flame

Where is your favorite place to read?

I'll read almost anywhere, so I really can't answer this. I can block out a whole classroom of hyper fifth graders to read. Yes, I speak from much experience. So, I'm going to answer a slightly different question, one about the time of day I like to read. I absolutely love getting up at four or five in the morning and being the only one awake, the house in silent darkness. I creep down the stairs to my favorite armchair in the living room with a good book and a book light, plop down, and read until somebody wakes up. I love it, sometimes I even get to see the sunrise. Now, I'm not a freak. I don't do this everyday. This usually only happens once or twice a year, normally when I'm just back home from Ireland and I'm suffering from severe jetlag. But I savor those days, and they're some of my favorite of the year.

Hm, compared to my normal novel length posts, this really is tiny. *shrugs* I'm off to scout for good Percy Jackson fanart. See you tomorrow Annie! (Obliviate! XD)

Nox!

Ahh, sorry you're having a crappy week, man. You're not alone there ;-;

Lol at The Office, Dwight is awesome! I hope the Tivo picks that episode up; Dwight singing sounds hilarious xD And I thought the same thing about Justin Bieber, haha.

As for your reading, don't ever think that reading in the early morning makes you a freak; I completely understand. There's something very serene about having the whole house to yourself and the silence that comes along with it (: Yay for morning people!
