Hello guys, girls and variations there upon. (That's a Doctor Who quote :])
So my life has been a bit boring this week so I'll just give you some news about potter.
I'm a fan of The Leaky Cauldron over Mugglenet and Leaky has just started LeakyTV. LeakyTV will offer rundowns Monday to Friday of the very latest news in the Harry Potter world, as well as providing you with information about the happenings around the cauldron, including contests announcements, new Leaky Lounge features and additions to their galleries. You can subscribe via youtube or just check the main page of leaky everyday for a new video.
As we know, the Potter films are filmed in Leavesden, England. But what you might not know is that the set will be staying there. Warner Brothers is planning on opening the set to the public! They plan on opening in 2012.
Onto this week's question (that I love)
What is your favorite Doctor Who quote and why?
Since I like altering the questions and I'm indecisive, I'm going to give you my favorite quotes, one from each season counting the David Tennent specials as it's own season and not counting season 1.
Rose:
The Doctor: Rose, take Arthur, follow it. Don't approach it, just go, go, go!
Rose Tyler: Arthur?
The Doctor: Good name for a horse.
Rose Tyler: No, you're not keeping the horse.
The Doctor: I let you keep Mickey!
This is one of my favorite episodes ever. It's called The Girl In The Fireplace and I could quote it all day. This one makes me laugh because it's really true.
Martha:
- Cathy: Why did you come here anyway?
- Sally: I love old things. They make me feel sad.
- Cathy: What's good about sad?
- Sally: It's happy for deep people.
Donna:
- [The Doctor has been poisoned with cyanide]
- Agatha Christie: There's no cure, it's fatal!
- The Doctor: Not for me, I can stimulate the inhibited enzymes into reversal. Protein! I need protein!
- Donna: Walnuts!
- The Doctor: Brilliant...!
- [With his mouth full, the Doctor resorts to charades to mime the food he needs]
- Donna: I can't understand you... How many words? One! One word! Shake... milk-shake... milk?! No, not milk. Shake, shake, shake?! Cocktail shaker! What do you want, a Harvey Wallbange?
- The Doctor: HARVEY WALLBANGER?!
- Donna: Well, I don't know!
- The Doctor: How is "Harvey Wallbanger" one word?!
- Agatha Christie: Doctor, What do you need?
- The Doctor: Salt! I was miming salt, I need salt, I need something salty!
- [Donna grabs a brown bag]:
- Donna: What about this?
- The Doctor: What is it?!
- Donna: Salt!
- The Doctor: Oh, that's too salty!
- Donna: [sarcastically] Oh, that's too salty!
- Agatha Christie: What about this?
- The Doctor: Mmm [eats]
- Donna: What's that?
- Agatha Christie: Anchovies.
- Donna: What is it? What else?
- [the Doctor mimes open palms, with arms outstretched]
- Donna: It's a song... Mammy!? I don't know, Camptown Races?
- The Doctor: CAMPTOWN RACES?!
- Donna: All right then, Towering Inferno?
- The Doctor: It's a shock, a shock, I need a shock!
- Donna: All right then, big shock coming up... [kisses him on the lips]
- [The Doctor exhales the toxins]
- The Doctor: Ahh, detox. Oh, I must do that more often [beat] I mean, the detox...
The Specials
- Adelaide: State your name, rank, and intention!
- The Doctor: The Doctor. Doctor. Fun.
Amy
Amy Pond: In bed above we're deep asleep / While greater love lies further deep / This dream must end, this world must know / We all depend on the beast below...
I love this poem because it sums up the whole episode. Also this episode as a whole I really like because it reminds me how much stuff there is to know.
Well, that was long.
Todays random fact is...
The word "lethologica" describes the state of not being able to remember the word you want.
That's it for me guys!
