WELCOME TO MUGGLETEEN

This is MuggleTeen, the first blog of it's kind, run by seven teenagers, about their love for Harry Potter. This supermegafoxyawesomehot blog is wizrock-tastic and full of the ramblings and rantings of me Megan (who is amazing and likes to make fun of Rob even though deep down somewhere he is a good person that she loves), Kate (the person who never posts), Annie (the Doctor lover...well, we all are, but...),Alyssa (who needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one xD), Katie (who also felt she needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one. I am not just 'a person!'), Sam (the anime lover and spider person who should maybe post now, yeah? is Thursday alright? -.-) , and Nicole (who has taken Sam's Spot on Friday and pushed Sam to thursday!) We're all members of the HPEF forums but that doesn't really matter now XD We are extremely excited to share our Potter-ness with the world and we will have many, many posts soon. So, until then, keep on Wizard Rockin'!!!

Sick and sunburned

Good morning guys, girls and variations there upon and welcome to muggleteen!

This week is my spring break which is a little stupid because usually it's the same week as Easter so people can go see family. But even though the chosen week wasn't the best one, I've still had a lot of fun so far.

I went to my Grandma's house Sat. to Tues. While eating at Panda Express (my favorite fast food ever) I saw a Chipotle. I don't know how many of you listen to Pottercast but I love them. Chipotle happens to be Jonh Noe (one of the hosts) favorite restaurant and he tends to talk about this place a lot. So being the Harry Potter dork that I am, I made my father stand out in the rain and take a picture of outside it. Ya...it was awesome. If you listen to pottercast and/or mugglecast leave a comment saying why you like it, or like one over the other.

As you all know, I'm posting late. The reason is yesterday I was helping my mom out all day. My mom is a collage professor and she and her students had rented a steamroller and were going to print with it. I was at the collage helping from 7 until 5 yesterday. Let me try to explain what we were doing (if you know what printmaking is it'll help) So imagine a 3" by 5" piece of wood with a picture carved onto it. Now imagine black ink being rolled on it. Then put fabric and blankets on the block and imagine a steamroller rolling over it. Last pulling up the fabric to see the picture in black ink on the fabric. That what I did about 30 times yesterday in the freezing wind and hot sun. For the first half of the day we were basically in a wind tunnel that was about 40 degrees, it was horrible. Then we moved out in the sun and we were all really tired and just wanted to sleep haha. Then afterward we all went out for margaritas for them, a coke for me, and Mexican food, yum. All in all it was a lot of fun but soooo tiring. Also I think I am now sick with a sunburn.

My favorite quote right now...

I actually have a list of quotes that I like but since I'm lazy and love Doctor Who, I'll just give you a quote from him.

The Doctor: You know when grown ups tell you everything's gonna be fine, but you think that they're probably lying to you to make you feel better?
Amelia: [rolls eyes] Yes.
The Doctor: Everything's gonna be fine.
Actually I'm going to give you two just because I can't decide on one.

The Doctor: What is that?
Amy Pond: Its a duck pond.
The Doctor: Why aren't there any ducks?
Amy Pond: I don't know, there's never any ducks!
The Doctor: Then how do you know its a duck pond?
I don't have much news except that TeamStarKid has sent out 300 tickets to lucky individuals that will get to see A Very Potter Sequal live in Michigan in May.

Oh, also it was the AMAZING David Tennent's birthday on the 18th of April. He has played the tenth Doctor from Doctor Who and he played Barty Crouch Jr.

I'm going to change my weekly random fact to any fact not particularly Harry Potter. So today's fact is...

In ancient Egypt, priests plucked EVERY hair from their bodies, including their eyebrows and eyelashes.

That's it! Here's a picture of me from Chipotle.
