Hey girls, guys, muggles, wizards, witches and everyone in between happy Wednesday! About the title...I don't know why that's the title. I'm not going to be talking about Team Starkid or either of their shows so, sorry, I'm too lazy to think of a better one. Megan, I wasn't even gonna talk about that so thanks for making the notice!
How did you convince your parents to let you go to Infinitus?
To tell you the truth I don't really remember. I tend to Google things late at night and then find awesome things. I email links to my dad telling him that this stuff is really cool (I hope that made sense). I found out about Infinitus around the same time I realized how much I'd love to go to boarding school so in September. For about a month I just kept telling my parents about it bugging them to give me a straight answer. They eventually said yes. Unfortunately after many talks (that made me unhappy) they refused to take my best potter friend with us. I remember that we bought our tickets on Black Friday really quickly then we went out shopping. I think what really got my parents to understand how much I wanted to go is how much I'd been talking about Harry Potter. Another factor that might have come into play was the fact that for High School I might be leaving home and going to school near LA *crosses figures*.
As I said last week Helping Haiti Heal is awesome. Most of the prizes ended on Saturday but they decided to extend the signature items, including the full signed editions of Harry Potter, until this weekend.

If Helping Haiti Heal earns 20,000 more dollars the three planes that will be sent to Haiti will be named after the trio.
So some other news I have to report (thanks to the Leaky Cauldron) is JK Rowlings is going to be turned into a special edition Barbie doll! It will be showcased at the world's largest toy fair in Germany.
Both parts of Deathly Hallows are officially going to be released in both 3D and 2D. I would probably enjoy 2D more because I'm an old fashioned girl but I'll hopefully see both.
So today my fact is that Nox means night in Latin. If you think about what this spell does you can see how fitting this translation is. It makes me wonder if JK Rowling can speak Latin.
I'm sorry for the huge post you guys! Hopefully this icon of Cormac will make my post shorter *wink*. I can't wait to see your post tomorrow Angelica!
WELCOME TO MUGGLETEEN
This is MuggleTeen, the first blog of it's kind, run by seven teenagers, about their love for Harry Potter. This supermegafoxyawesomehot blog is wizrock-tastic and full of the ramblings and rantings of me Megan (who is amazing and likes to make fun of Rob even though deep down somewhere he is a good person that she loves), Kate (the person who never posts), Annie (the Doctor lover...well, we all are, but...),Alyssa (who needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one xD), Katie (who also felt she needed a better parenthesis explanation, so she made one. I am not just 'a person!'), Sam (the anime lover and spider person who should maybe post now, yeah? is Thursday alright? -.-) , and Nicole (who has taken Sam's Spot on Friday and pushed Sam to thursday!) We're all members of the HPEF forums but that doesn't really matter now XD We are extremely excited to share our Potter-ness with the world and we will have many, many posts soon. So, until then, keep on Wizard Rockin'!!!

About the Nox spell, the majority of Jo's spells are Latin. She used the language a lot throughout the books, possibly for some names too, though I think most of them are constellations. Off the top of my head I know Sirius, Remus, and all of the Black family were named after stars (Bellatrix, might I randomly and unnecessarily add, is the left shoulder of Orion whose name translates fittingly to 'female warrior'). But you'll find Jo did a lot of research for the books, which makes people like me who love analyzing very happy muffins (: She probably knew some Latin, but I find it unlikely that she would speak it, because it's, well, dead >w<
And Siriusly, a Jo Barbie in Germany?! Frau will be enthused; we talk about HP all the time in German class! : D
I, for one, would love to learn Latin. I know of some schools that still teach it. Cause even though it's dead it's still the basis that a lot of languages are built on.
